Welcome to Friends of Fisher House!

Who we are...
We are a committed group of volunteers dedicated to the support of Fisher House– a “home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at the Veterans Administration Healthcare Center in Los Angeles.

Our goal is to promote the general welfare of Fisher House, augment existing services with special programs, raise funds for the purchase and/or donation of supplies, materials, and equipment as may be required. We want to promote our local Fisher House and support our veterans and their families, to whom we are all owe so much.

Fisher House Foundation
The Fisher House Foundation is an organization committed to the support of our military families. Because members of the military and their families are stationed worldwide and must often travel great distances for specialized medical care, Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.
